,but I still want you

,but I still want you

A topographical dichotomy; working with a series of lines over the contours of a shape that contradict each other yet hold relation. This collection was an opportunity for me to explore, volume, curves, accentuation, contrast, commerciality, relationships, and wearability experimentations. I was thinking a lot about the visual interpretations each of the linear based techniques used in my collection are perceived. Love, tension and contrast were reoccurring concepts implemented throughout this process.

Ideation and Research

Challenging and experimental, I would like to take this project as direction to push myself to produce some of my more challenging fashion engineering concepts. This summer I worked a lot with ways of exploring and creating volume and I would like to expand upon this by continuing to find my own style, execution, and techniques of creating volume and perfect them by producing incredible shapes and movements that are both interesting and impeccably crafted. I would like to experiment with textile manipulation to produce a variety of gradients which could be used in my garment concepts.
