What to bring to your shoot

  • Touch ups

Sometimes grads like to bring a hairbrush, bobby pins, mirror, or anything that may help you with touchups during your shoot.

  • Bring Regalia

Don’t forget to bring your cap, gown, stoles or cords, etc.

For people who are worried about their grad cap and hair, I suggest looking at “grad cap hacks”. I’ve had several grads bobby pin their caps on and have it work better with their hairstyles.

  • IRON

Grad gowns and stoles come folded with giant lines and crinkles, hit it with an iron or steam it if you have time. Trust me it’s worth it. If you want to stay extra fresh you could even bring a lint roller or de-wrinkle spray to your session.

  • Bring Appropriate Clothing

I will contact you about the weather, however, please plan to bring jackets, sweats, whatever clothing you need to be comfortable when we are not shooting.

  • Comfy Shoes

Make sure you bring shoes that you can walk far in! Especially if you are planning on wearing really tall heels. There are plenty of places to slip on some slides throughout your shoot.
